I posted a few times here to pretty good recommendation, thank you! As mentioned previously I’m engaged on designing a pollinator/bug pleasant yard on my four acres in MD. Unfortunately I have an Amish farm on one side (pesticides) and our new neighbors just moved in, and instantly deployed not one, but two, bug zappers in the middle of their back yard. They're on 24/7. We know them, however they’re not really the sort to take recommendation - the one good bugs are lifeless ones… The zapper is probably 80-100ft from my property line, but I’d supposed to begin on that side of the yard with some native bushes and shrubs - now I’m second guessing myself. I do know zappers typically advertise effectiveness by the acre, which could be cowl about 116ft in all instructions from the middle (per acre). So in the event that they aren’t efficient at drawing bugs in from a lot additional than that, I is perhaps reasonably protected - No thought what brand or excessive how power these explicit zappers are although. Any thoughts on the best way to encourage native insects/pollinators in my yard without inadvertently serving them up to the zappers subsequent door?
